Photogenic cityscapes are fairly easy to come by around Vancouver since the city has plenty of viewpoints facing different angles of the city. From the steam clock in Gastown, to Granville Island, the Lions Gate Bridge, and various views along the Stanley Park seawall and Olympic Village.
This collection is a combination of the vibrant lights that make up Vancouver’s Cityscapes.
We took this 8 minute long-exposure photo during the most colourful sunsets we’ve ever experienced. While we wish we could see sunsets like this much more often, we were lucky to have been out with our cameras at the time.
One of our favourite photographs of Vancouver’s iconic Lions Gate Bridge. We had to wait until the moon was perfectly lined up with the top of the bridge, which does not happen too often. Often, with Vancouver’s rainy weather, we always try to make the most of photographing the moon during clear nights skies.
Vancouver plays host to three nights of fireworks celebrations each summer. The Celebration of Lights provides great opportunities for photographing the city under the colours of fireworks.
